The 18 Cafe is situated at the front of the 18 Footers League Club and offers great coffee, breakfast, lunch and snack options for you to enjoy on the go.
Enjoy your coffee at the beautiful beach or in the park, or even while you are on your daily walk. The options are endless but you will always be served with a smile from our friendly staff at the 18 Cafe!
Cafe 18 (South Grind) is managed by Ernesto Sosa & Rosario Illanes since 2022.

Our Coffee:
Our sourcing philosophy is that we select coffees from small producers mainly from Latin America before they ship, to ensure a fair and sustainable system. We build equitable long lasting relationships with our suppliers to bring you the highest quality of coffee, while also creating fair trade for the workers and producers we use.
We are passionate about this and welcome a conversation when you come to get your next coffee. We will always be transparent about our producers and happy to give you all the details about each coffee type we use.
Our list of unique coffee varietals give you an opportunity to taste and enjoy the dfferent flavours the diverse Latin America has to offer. Sometime, we will also have the pleasure to experiment and taste some of the best varieties and single origins that Africa has to offer too!
Our signature blend, “The Yandoo” pays homage to the 18 Footers Sailing History. Created exclusively for The Australian 18 Footers League, it is designed to be balanced with both full cream and alternative milk options. This creamy medium dark blend showcases notes of nuts, milk chocolate, toffee and malt and is comprised of 72% San Vicente, Honduras beans and 28% La Esmeralda, Brazil beans.
We also take pride in our decaf single origin coffee with its unique sugar cane wash, delivers a fine balanced taste rare to find amongst its peers.
In addition to great coffee, we have a great selection of sweet and savoury items to satisfy your appetite. Delicious croissants and authentic Portuguese Tarts are just some of our baked goods on offer everyday!
We have been told our Bacon & Egg roll is one not to be missed on a soft milk bun and our fruity granola will provide that crunch of freshness too!
We have a great selection of toasties made with the freshest ingredients and most importantly, you will always be greets with a smile when you visit us at the 18 Cafe!
Our window is open Monday to Friday 6:30am to 2:00pm and 7:30am to 3:00pm on weekends.
Public Holiday hours: 7:30am to 2:00pm.
